MR-35619 Stowage and personal gear M113A1 US Army Vietnam No.1 (AFV CLUB)

The MR Models item is the first kit “M113 in Vietnam”, others are to follow occasionally.

The stowage set is designed for the M113A1 kit from AFV Club and features some typical stowage

and equipment parts, but contains also an improvised floor protection for the fighting compartment 

made from sand filled ammunition boxes, also stowage for the fighting compartment of the M113A1.

The set contains exactly reproduced US boxes and cans as “Marmite” isolated food containers, 5 Gal.

water dispensers and the in Vietnam with US forces often seen surplus watertight 20mm ammunition

containers of US Navy.  As an extra feature the MR Models product contains a piece of Polyester mesh

to simulate the RPG fence which was often carried on the M113 for night bivouac. The included mesh has

for 1/35 scale realistic square openings of 1.1mm by a rope diameter of 0.13mm, the looking through is

about 99%. This means that a model will not disappear in a diorama after a fence of this material.
